Still Creekin' in November

Lots of rain over the weekend brought the local creeks back up. A local classic the Jordan was at perfect flow. This run has two scenic canyons filled with slides, waterfalls and riverwide holes, every drop is big and fun. Only 15 mins from town to the put in makes this a must do when its on. More rain or snow this week so things will be up for a while. It would be great to transition from boating straight into skiing.

With all the snow in the mountains I put together this slide show from a ski trip to Italy and Switzerland last spring. The resolution isn't very good, but hey its youtube! Hope it gets you fired up for the season.

October Flying

Its hard to believe we are still flying in Revelstoke at the end of October. Not much lift around but launching 6000ft above the valley gives you plenty of time to throw the wing around or just kick back and enjoy the view. There is 50 -70cm's above treeline right now which makes the views spectacular and the launches hard work. Wx forecast is calling for rain in town all week, no more flying.....but the creeks should be back up!

Chris setting up, check out the views into the Monashees.

Becks ready to go, nice view of Mt.Begbie.

Becks off Mt.MacKenzie, Mt.Cartier in the background.
