Breakfast of Champions

Spent the last two days at the Asulkan cabin. The skiing was nothing special but we managed to make up for it with lots of really good food. I think we drove the other residents of the hut crazy as we downed guinness and burgers for dinner. In a stroke of inspiration we came up with a great new drink, hot chocolate with coconut milk, mandatory on all future trips. But as always we saved the best for last......bacon and eggers for breakfast. Hey guys hows your porridge?

MMMMM..... bacon and eggs the way every day of skiing should start.

Selkirk Lodge

Good Morning! Breakfast views of Justice.

Just got out from an amazing week at Selkirk Lodge. I was working with Scott Davis who calls this part of the Selkirks home for most of the winter. We had a great group of guests that were super keen to ski as much as possible in the seven days they had up there. We had killer weather, wicked snow, and good stability....a pretty good recipe for an awesome week of backcountry skiing. For info on skiing at Selkirk Lodge go to www.selkirkbackcountrylodge.com

Mr. Davis finally gets some Solitude.

Finally a break, Virtue, Hope, Charity, and the peaks of Glacier National Park in the background

Look closely and you can spot our tracks on Sanctuary, Mt. Justice.

Nice tracks on Cowgirl

Another crappy view from the hut. Sunset over Albert peak.

Hmmm why is he luring us in here?

The ladies leaving the boys behind......again!

Not bad tracks......for girls!, Campion bowl

Mr. Davis doing what he does best.........going first.

Finding enlightenment on Macchiacto.

It burns, It burns......and the sun is pretty hot too.

The Maestro and his musicians, thanks for the great week!

Just Another Day with CMH Revelstoke

There has been alot of talk about this winter being sub-par, below average, and not that great. For such a poor winter there sure is alot of great skiing out there. Here are a few pics and some video of just another epic day with CMH Revelstoke. For info on skiing with CMH go to www.canadianmountainholidays.com

Ski Hill Chaos

What happens when it snows 40 over night and they start plowing the ski hill parking lot 10 minutes before the lifts start turning?

Hmmm...who knew this was a two way road?

Obviously none of these people.
